Happy Juice Recipe

Proper nutrition is not only the key to living a healthier life in physical form but also mentally. Research has proved that eating healthy can help balance your mood, increase your energy, and all this while boosting your health. There are therapy programs designed to teach you how to make eating healthy the focal point of battling your depression.

This list of raw ingredients was carefully constructed to create a recipe that will help balance your mood.

Apples: An apple a day can keep the psychiatrist away when eaten in combination with other ingredients. Apples have an abundance of antioxidants that will help repair and prevent oxidation damage on the cellular level. Apples are also filled with soluble fiber which helps balance your blood sugar. A blood sugar imbalance can often times be the cause of mood swings.

Carrots: You can reduce the destructive effect that free radicals have on your body by eating foods that are rich in antioxidants. Carrots are a great source for beta-carotene and when included in your diet, can produce a healthy way to battle depression.

Celery: A high level of vitamins and potassium in the foods you eat can help fight stress. Celery has nutrients called fitalidos that have a positive effect on your central nervous system.

Ginger Root: When you lack zinc in your diet, you may find that you have higher irritability and depression than most people. Using more zinc in your diet will quickly replenish the depleted levels caused by your stressful life.

Lemons: Part of the list of ingredients that are significant to fight stress are foods that are plentiful in vitamin C. Lemons are a great choice for both taste and as a source of vitamins in your juice recipes.

Pears: If you’ve heard about the pear and quinoa salad to help your mood swings, then you already know that pears are a good source of folate. People who suffer from depression are said to lack folate so adding this fruit to your juice recipe will help balance your day.

Turmeric root: The well-known “miracle spice” is an excellent addition to our Happy Juice recipe because of its healing properties. Due to its curcuminoid content, turmeric root has been linked to medical treatments for a broad range of diseases and disorders. Turmeric can help battle your depression because it will help modulate the level of neurotransmitters in your brain.

Now it’s time to make some juice!
